A Measure Of Distance
There is no clear measure of distance when distance is part of the connection itself.
While these works began as an investigation into space and threshold, the relationship between closeness and distance gradually took center stage.
Connection is rarely unambiguous. It can offer support while also creating tension. It brings closeness, but also reveals where that closeness remains fragile or incomplete.
In this body of work, distance does not mean separation. It belongs to the relationship itself: as tension, as an interval, as a charge between forms.
